FARMINGTON, Pa. - The Vikings sit in 12th after a tough first round at the Tartan Invitational.

Sydney Bowes led the pack with a birdie and round score of 81 (+9), at the Nemacolin Woodlands Resort - Mystic Rock. Amanda Milner was behind her by two strokes, shooting a 83 (+11) on the day.

The final three Vikings: Kyra Gravelle, Paige Greco, and Grace Schuh struggled a bit with some difficult terrain ahead of them. They posted scores of 95, 96, and 101.

Together, the shot 28 par's and 3 birdies in the round of 18.

Berry looks to make a comeback tomorrow against top teams to rise up in the rankings.
