Claremont-Mudd-Scripps defeated Berry's women's lacrosse team 17-7 in Orlando Wednesday, ending the Vikings' winning streak at three games. 

CMS led 10-5 at halftime, then held a Vikings team that had scored 53 goals in its previous three games to just two in the game's final 30 minutes.

"We were simply outplayed in the second half," Berry head coach Shaun Williamson said.  "We made too many mistakes today to compete with a quality team of CMS' caliber.  I take my hat of to them for coming out in the second half and taking the game to us.  These are the games we really need to learn from as we develop as a team."

Jenny Miller led Berry with three goals and an assist, wile Anya Dziurzynski scored twice and Kristan Dziurzynski added a goal and two assists.  Vikings goalie Taylor Martin recorded nine saves. 

The loss dropped Berry's record to 3-5 overall.

Berry is scheduled to return to action March 22, when it hosts LaGrange at Ford Field.
